It’s the place where you keep all of your belongings. Your furniture might be your content, your codes, etc.

That’s how simple it is. To build a website, you need the two above. That doesn’t mean you can’t build a website on your laptop. You can do that if you are a programmer, but the majority of us, aren’t.

Design is 40% of what keeps users on a website. If you have a great website with poor design, people will only visit that site based on its unique content that cannot be found anywhere else.

But as soon as another website provides that content, you start losing visitors. As a web designer, design and interphase matter a lot.

Structure and Layout

A website is more structured. When a website is well organized, it is referred to as a “good one.” Most website designers don’t understand this.

The structure has to do with the framework of the website. Whether it is well organized or not, on the other hand, the layout adds appeal to the website.

For example, most websites with a one-page layout tend to do better than those with multiple pages. A layout is a plan or design that suits a certain type of website. The home page layout is an example of this.

Interaction

Fonts

When I started, I did not understand what font was. I had a terrible experience and only discovered it after it was too late.

On my first website, the design was OK. It was a real estate website. But the font on the homepage did not align. It made the design poor. like a poorly written alphabet. I had no idea about it until a year later.

There are a lot of websites that display fonts, but my favorite is Google Fonts. Google Fonts are free and help you with the area where you put your text by choosing the perfect font for your website.
