Getting started with the blogger platform requires you to know how to set up a favicon.
In this article, I will do my best to explain how you can get started with setting up the blogger favicon.

While most people prefer to use the WordPress platform, a number of people still believe in the Blogger platform.
The platform has been live since the late 2000s and it still exists under the domain of blogger.com.
When starting my first blog, I went with the Blogger platform and decided to begin my journey into the world of blogging.
If I could recall properly, I started out with humbird.blogspot.com and also did youngstar.blogspot.com.
After a while, I realized that I hadn’t set up the blog properly and one of my mistakes was not setting up the favicon.
It was quite easy to set up, but I didn’t even know how to. Now let’s talk about the favicon!
What are favicons?
Favicons are little logos or images that are found on the top bar of your browser.

When browsing the internet, you have probably come across one or two.
If you are using the Chrome browser, you might have some recently visited websites’ logos on your browser tab.
Those are my favicon examples. You can always find them there.
Also, if you are using a laptop or a PC, you can find them at the top of the website you are logged into.
With that being cleared, how do you set up your blogger favicon? To do this
Access Blogger
First, log in to your blogger dashboard. To do that, simply type in blogger.com and sign in using your Gmail and password.
Once you log in, you will be greeted with your blogger dashboard.
Go to your settings
After logging in, you head straight to your settings tab and scroll downward.
Scroll to the bottom till you see the favicon link. If you don’t see it, try searching for it by typing CTRL+F and searching for it.
You can also make use of the video above to get it done quickly.
Click on the Favicon link.
Once you find the link, click on it, and it will open in a new tab.
If it doesn’t open, try to refresh your browser and see if it is going to work.
Upload Your Favicon
After opening it in a new tab, click on the upload favicon button on the page and it will ask you to choose an image for your favicon.
If you already have one, upload it, but if not, then see HOW TO CREATE A FAVICON and create yours.
The process is simple and no technical knowledge is needed.
After the upload is complete, simply click on Save Favicon.
CONCLUSION
Sometimes, there are little issues like the favicon won’t upload.
Well, there are simple tricks that will work on that. I wrote them on how to create a favicon.
But let’s get to answering a few questions about blogger favicons.
What if the favicon doesn’t upload?
Then this can come from either the image resolution or adding the wring code.
Blogger favicons require a specific image resolution, which you can obtain from favicon.io.
Can I use stock images to create a Favicon?
Sure, you can, but it must follow a certain process. which is the size of the image.
My friend once made use of an emoji as a favicon and it works. Just be sure to follow the given resolution.
